Harmony Community @Hoi Ying

Project Background
The three-year project is sponsored by the Community Investment and Inclusion Fund (CIIF) with the objective of developing the community’s social capital and supporting the new community forcefully. The official intake of the new estate, Hoi Ying Estate was taken place in 2018. Through identifying and gathering the needed families in the estate, it brings the elders, carers and residents together to participate in community activities and build a neighbourhood mutual help and support network. Moreover, the project also promotes cross-sectoral collaboration and encourages participants to give full play to their strengths, with a view to assisting residents in adapting to the new living environment after moving into the estate and jointly building a new caring community.
